Jesus came to this planet
To teach us how to love God,the Father..
By serving Him with love and devotion,
Love thy neighbour,love all creatures...
Stop being cruel,stop avarice...
Will you be doing this for Xmas?
Or just buying,buying,buying...
Material things for yourself and family..
Forgetting the real purpose..
Such is the trick of Maya or Devil...
Love material things and forget about spiritual ones....

Ummm.... Maya?
Maya is not a being, such as a devil or a God or whatever.
Kind of confusing.

I understand that Maya is recognized as a form of power, or magic, but how does that fit with your penultimate line?

Anyway, I can agree with the sentiments that you posed for Christians, and I wish all Christians blessings on the commoration of Christ's birth. I hope that you can get through the commercialism that this world has adopted and find true meaning.

Peace.

I'm not a christain but i love the fact that christains have Jesus to follow he was a good man with very great teachings (i mean '' he who is with out sin cast the first stone'' how do you get much better than that) and i can see were your going with the material things it is a little silly. even an athiest knows you can't take them to the grave. as a pagan i just party and celebrate ''life''.

To begin with don't put Xmas in things.

X takes Christ out of Christmas.

well on that note, i'll have you know that this year i'm not going to buy anything for my family. I want to see how they react. Hopefully it won't be a big deal and they do know the true meaning for Christmas.

Eh... you're heading in the right direction, but you're still a little off. He came here to save us from sin and death. And to show us how backwards we get things sometimes.

now we leave in an age were everything is material. i think instead of that we should help kids that dont have not even a chrismas tree or a toy to get. i think we should help one another.
