Most experience is with tomatoes. I have tried radishes, which also grow fast, but the economics favor tomatoes. My estimate is that you can harvest in 75 per-cent of outdoors time. The advantage to hydroponics is that tomatoes are perennials if they have enough sun each day and moderate temperatures. So the harvest period is extended.
