Why do Muslims follow the book mohommad wrote. Have they ever heard of the Bible. America was founded by Christianity, and now we have this Muslim religion over here. Muslims think they can show off their Muslims ways, but if we went to the middle east and showed off our Christians ways, they would stone us. My friend wanted to date a Muslim, but he couldn't because they like to stick with their own religion and race. why can't they just do that in their own country? They would be mad if Christians did that to their country.

First of all thank you for asking about our religion.

When you ask a question it is not right to make statements. Such as "Quran was written by Muhammad"PBUH, "America was founded by Christianity", "The ways of the west are Christian ways", "Muslims should give up all their values and practices and Join the western culture [just as the earlier Christians did]".

I am sure that this is not intentional but that is what I got from the question. First of all Muslims actually do study the bible, a lot of them do. And sadly they know more about the bible then most Christians know about Quran. Secondly what are Christian ways? did Jesus PBUH support dating, or premarital sex, or eating pork, interest, armed conflicts? e.t.c I could go on. This modern society that we know as the west cannot thank Christians for most of its technological advancements and that is a fact. This is because the Church often saw reason and science as contrary to Christianity. Which I strongly believe had nothing to do with the teachings of Jesus PBUH.

Muslims follow their ways because they like them better and are not convinced that all of the ways of the west are right. We accept many things such as their foods, some of their clothes, their favorite shows, their advanced technological studies and other such elements. But we do not give up our religion. And please don't force us to do so, if you can convince us with legal mean then we are more than happy to discuss.

Uh excuse me, the U..S wasn't founded by anyone if you think straight. Native americans were hear first a duh. But let's forget about that right. You got alot of christians who want to be w/other christians, big freakin deal. America was founded by terrorists, we all know what race, who slaughtered and took someone else's property and called it their own, and did it in the name of Jesus right. Then people say muslims kill people for no reason. I don't remember muslims comin over here sayin, "your an engine(natiev americans), I'm gonna kill you." You have people of all races wanting to stay witn their race, DUH!

Why you follow the bible. If ten of the most prominant jewish scholars will tell you on TELEVISION, that there is some truth to the bible, but 75% of it is myth, you do the math! But I have no problem with what anyone believes, it's just people like you who try to act like one book(Scripture) is better or worse than another.

Get your facts right, there are a lot of non-Muslims living in Muslim countries. It is funny you say America was founded by Christianity. America was actually founded by killing Native Americans! Even though if it was founded by Christianity then most of the Christians don't follow it. Maybe you should address them first.

Muslims believe that the Quran was written by God.
I'm not going to diss the bible because I respect my Christian friends beliefs.

America was not founded on Christianity it was founded on investments in the new world. Jamestown anyone?

"Muslims think they can show off their Muslim ways..."

Wow isn't there something in America called Freedom of Speech and Freedom of religion?

"My friend wanted to date a muslim but he couldn't ..."

Because it is forbidden for a muslim woman to get married to a person other than a muslim. Whats wrong if a muslim only wants to marry another muslim? Isn't it only logical that they do so? In order to make your kids good muslims you need a muslim home. And sticking to their own race? We may stick to our own religion, but we definately don't stick to our own race. I've seen white muslims marry pakistani ones. Mexican muslims marrying indian muslims. Arab muslims marrying white muslims also. Plus if its a persons choice to stay married in their own religion then you should respect it,

"why can't they just do that in their own country?"

Wow you are really ignorant when you say that. Thats like saying "Why can't catholics stay in Ireland" or "Why can't Jews stay in Israel"

"They would be mad if Christians did that to their country."

Look at the Ottoman Empire and Muslim Spain.

Your whole arguement is based on bad history, illogical reasoning, and assumptions.

Try making a legit argument in the future.

And don't blame a relgion for something that one person did.

I can write an article saying
"Why do christians do that"
And talk about how Hitler killed almost all the jews.

But I'm not stupid like you.

Muhammad was illiterate, he did not right Qu'ran, rather it was revelation from God through the Archangel Gabriel. I appreciate very much religious freedom in America, and Canada. A Muslim man can marry a girl from the People of the Book. And it the government that let my dad come to America and do his Ph.D I bet you didn't know that Muslims are the most highly educated minority in America. And it is the Government which allows me citizenship being born in America, and the freedom of religion. I am just as American as you and Canadian too actually. But my faith is Islam, oneness of God.

Thanks

You are quite wrong.Muhammad pbuh was illiterate He did not write the holy qur'an.Holy qur'an was written by Allah the only one God and stored in Luh Mahfudz.Allah instructed Gabriel angel for giving the holy qur'an step by step to Muhammad pbuh during 22 years,2 months and 22 days..You did not know that in middle east there are many christians live there peacefully side by side with muslims. If you come to Jedda and go shopping you can meet many christian philippinos work there as shop waiters.Non muslims are prohibited to enter sacred places only i.e Medina,Me
cca,Mina ,Muzdalifa and Arafaa. The rest of the cities in Saiudi Arabia can be entered by non muslims. The population of Saudi Arabia are not muslims only.In Jedda I met an original arabic but he is a christian since his ancestors.I saw a church in Jedda.Do not be afraid if you go to non sacred places you are free and will not be stoned by muslims.Islam has no force for entering muslim and for maintaining non islamic religion. You are free to show off your own religion.

1) and christians follow the NT, why do you trust the NT and not the Koran? I say both the NT and Koran are unreliable.

2) THE US was NOT founded by christians.

3) part of the point was to get away from religious persecution, and have freedom of religion. hypocrite much?

4) people of one religion have a right to pick who they date, for whatever the heck reason they wish, what right do YOU have to say they shouldn't be able to do that?

You make a very valid point. On the other hand, if Americans felt as strongly as you do about it, why does your government let them in?

Don't get me wrong, I agree with the whole "not being able to change their ways in their country for us" type thing, but think about it.
