The answer to your question is yes, definately....i made the mistake of taking the 2 meds together and i gained 30 lbs. some of which were due to my inactivity, but my appetite went thru the
roof. OMG i was like Ms. Packman... i just could not get enough to eat...And to top it all off, i lost 1/2 the hair on my head...i am not kidding-it was coming out by the handfuls.
i really do wish you the best of luck while taking these 2 rx's and i really hope that your hair doesn't fall out, like mine did.........

Yes, it's possible that those will combine items will make you gain weight. The not working out surely is a cause. If you can try to swim or use some other form of non- weight bearing exercise. Also your doctor should have informed you of the possible side effects.

Hi!I really don't think Paxil causes weight gain.I've been on it for about 6yrs.(for Depression).I'm not sure about the other medicine.I know that Zyprexa causes major weight gain. But,you can find out the side effects on WebM.D.Health,Yahoo Health or MSN Health.I look up most of my meds on the internet.

Could be both. I have taken paxil and lost weight. It took away my apettite. I think it depends on the effect of your depression on you. When I get depressed I didn't eat a lot but I ate wrong. When I was in a good "mood" I ate right or not a lot and was active.

BOTH. DEPAKOTE IS KNOWN FOR EITHER CAUSING WEIGHT LOSS OR GAIN. WITH MOST PEOPLE THEY TEND TO GAIN.
I HAVE BEEN ON DISABILITY FOR 6 MONTHS AND GAINED 10 POUNDS AND IT IS FROM NO EXERCISE.

THE BEST THING IS TO CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT THE WEIGHT GAIN BECAUSE IT MAY BE A SIGN OF SOMETHING OTHER THAN YOU KNOW.
IT IS BETTER TO CHECK THAN WORRY
