It depends on what you are doing with your system. For a start, I would suggest at least a P4 processor, 1Gbyte of RAM and a video card with at least 128MB of RAM. The operating system alone needs 15Gbytes of disk space not including any applications or data. There are lots on cool new features with Vista especially in the area of visuals. I would suggest you go Microsoft's site and check it out to get the best info on Vista.

check the microsoft vista site for requirements. it's the next OS from microsoft, supposed to be more secure and faster than xp.

Do what my job does; wait 1 year before you buy it. Gives Microsoft time to fix all the problems in it.
