Please, don't commit suicide! if U think ur at that point; talk to someone u trust that won't react, or talk to a counselor. But if u just think about it A LOT; but never intend on acting on it; it's ok. But please, pray on this; don't do something u won't be able to correct! Think of the ppl u'll be leaving behind; the one's who'll miss u, the one's u'll miss. All the things u'll miss. Trust me; it'll get better.

This is not a moral issue. Neither right or wrong. Thoughts of suicide should always be taken seriously. You didn't mention your age, but if you are young there could be hormonal changes going on. It could also be a chemical imbalance which can be helped with medication. You really need to talk to a professional who has experience and training in this disorder. If you are in school, start with your school nurse or social worker. They can make recommendations. If you are not in school, there are state and local agencies that can help. I found the resouces below by searching on "suicide hotlines".(there are a lot more sites listed). PLEASE get some help as soon as possible. Suicide is never an answer.

Life is never easy for anyone, but it can be really rewarding I promise you that. Do you have a hard time sleeping, or do you not have interest in things you use to really like? Do you have any family members who have suffered from depression? Depression is a very serious illness that should never be left unnoticed. This is something that you should go to your doctor and a psychologist about. Depression is very common, and it's okay to feel awkward going to see a psychologist. Remember though that many different people see psychologists. The important thing to do is to see where this anger of suicide is coming from. It could be coming from no where..which is commonly a genetic trait that you could have received from your mom or dads side of the family.
I wish the best of luck to you, and I hope you feel better.

Brit, please PLEASE don't commit suicide! I know how you feel, I used to feel the same way. Just think about how everyone you leave behind would feel... You are obviously suffering from depression. You need to talk to an adult ASAP, a doctor, family member, teacher, counselor, friend, someone you trust. I know it's hard to talk about your problems, you're probably just embarrassed to admit that you have problems to someone you know. You should NOT be embarrassed! More people have mental-health problems than you realize.
You have already taken the first step toward feeling better, you have asked for help online... now you just need to talk to someone who is actually able to DO something about it, instead of just talking (or typing).
Getting medical help for my depression was the best thing I ever did in my entire life. I had to experiment wih different anti-depressants over the years, but my doctor and I finally found the combo that works for me.
Your problem could be genetic, hormonal, or just extra stress lately, it doesn't matter. PLEASE GET SOME HELP RIGHT NOW!!!

its wrong, but normal for most people at one time or another to feel suicidal. You made a big step though. Your talking about it. You need to find help. It can either be a chemical imbalance in your body or just stress that has become to much for you to deal with alone.
Please seek help. The easiest thing to do is to call a suicide prevention line in your area. Check your phone book. They can point you in the right direction to get help.
Good luck and bless you.

You should really talk to your friends... let whatever is bothering you out. It's definitely not worth it. I think @ some point in time everyone wonders if life will be easier...but they just wonder. Don't let life get the best of you. you gotta stick it out..and show that you're stronger... Would you wanna be the girl that gave up? Or the girl that never gave in? There will always be rough patches..but they're followed by moments of pure bliss. I myself have been extremely down and out, wondered the same..... but i'm glad I never let it get me..... There's so much that I wanna do... just to prove that I am somebody (for my own satisfaction)... and I made the best of my life....You should too..
Sometimes it's easier to talk to a stranger, so if you need someone to talk to email me anytime..
Take care!! Seriously!

Two things might help you They are truth as I know it. There is an insult unto death and it can be delivered only by friends and family. Wanting to be dead can come from several things but you will see others have survived the same and you will live too. There is a 12 step program to recovery from depression and the first step is to avoid friends and family and find a new friend who is an outcast like yourself.

you speak as if you will have a form of consciousness once you're dead, but you will be "off" non-alive, dead. How do you know what death is like? How do you know that you will not have greater problems from suicide? How do you know it's hopeless? It isn't hopeless just because it feels like it is--that's called emotional reasoning. Just because you feel something, that doesn't make it true--example, just because you feel scared, that doesn't mean there's danger--it may just be a panic attack. You feel hopeless and see no reason to go on--that's because you're feeling your symptoms of depression--helpless and hopeless. This time will pass, if you allow it. If you still feel suicidal, seek professional help--why wouldn't you at least try it because you only have something to gain. Then if you still feel this way, you can do what you want.

It's one thing if everyonce in a while you're really upset and think "Maybe I should end it all," but don't. It sounds like for you it's a lot worse and you actually are considering it. This is awful. Life will get better for you....trust me at some points I've been in your shoes and it does get better (even though you think it can't possibly)
You should, for your own safety, find someone you can trust (friend, family) and just talk to them. (You obviously need to talk to someone and need their advice if you're asking on this site.) DEFINETELY go see your doctor. He/She might reecommend some sort of anti-depressant, yoga/meditattion, or a thereapist.
Keep in their buddy, if you keep fighting you'll come out alright. There's light at the end of the tunnel and life WILL get better! :)

Every day and every night seem to be more than "just at times" you feel this way. At least you are aware of it, now the question is: "What are you going to do about it?" You need some serios help if this is an obsession!!
