Why do you think this is happening?
Is it because of porn or simply it's another sexual craving?

A lot of it falls into the fantasy category....you can imagine that person to be the sexiest person on earth, because you can't see them...
i don't practice it but i don't knock it either...for some it's a release
seriously, is it any more lame than what we are all doing right now? if there's nothing like the real thing, what does it say about us to communicate this way??
in that sense, cyber sex is just another form of expression..

cybersex is lame and only for ugly peoplewho can't get the real thing. Forplay is fun and awesome if with the right person. Porn is REALLY lame and not even close to being a turn on. It's all like a candyland for men, it's all in their heads. Whatever it takes to make him feel like a man.

well cybersex is for when you cant meet to have foreplay and the real thing --- its part of the communication revolution --- people can meet and have a sexual encounter that is TOTALLY safe yet fills a need with someone thats maybe half a world away or next door

I've seen this too. I think it's because of the 'unknown'. If you think about when you first meet someone --- how exciting it is, anticipation, etc. Even though cyber sex is very distant, I think it has a lot to do with that kind of excitement. Also -- people who chat, cyber sex or anything on the computer can be anything they want because they are somewhat hidden. It gives shy people the opportunity to be more outgoing -- or to take on a totally different personality.

Trust me, given the choice, I'd pick the real thing any day. Sometimes it's just fun. I learned how to better formulate my thoughts & develop my imagination that way. It's not something I do at random though, just with whoever I'm involved with at the time.

Well for some reason, I just can't seem to find a girl who is willing to hook up without wanting to be in a relationship first.
So, this works out well enough. At I least don't wake up with any wierd diseases.

Cyber sex is stupid and I have no idea what it is or why people do it. If I can't feel it, its not real. Cyber sex is for people too lame to go out and get real sex.

Is a sexual desire that otherwise is not feasible due to location. Many other factors. Is a great thing if you respect it.

I think that people just get that drive and they have no one to have sex with. the nearest thing is the Internet. so that's where they turn.
