no i wasnt really trying to get even i was cheated on before and no one had the heart to tell me and that hurt when i was the last to know

I'm a guy and I don't blame you for what you did... were you right? I can't answer that. I can't measure your hurt! If you do nothing, it will happen again... you don't mention what her reaction was...but I think she probably suspected.

you did the right thing. If you know he is married, you too would be part of the affair and it would be partly your fault as well. Also, the wife would be bound to find out eventually, therefore being more angry than if you told her the truth before hand.
