I have such horrible skin. Really. I get breakouts, blackheads, and everything possible so easily. Usually when I get blackheads I just gently squeeze them out, but then it becomes a pimple, and there's this gigantic red spot where I squeezed the blackhead out, but then again I can't leave it in there because then it gets worse. So what do I do?!

When I first got these problems over 30 years ago popular wisdom was 2 pinch the skin & squeeze black head & pimple. No more, it makes problem worse. Now I still get acne & wash gently w/ warm soapy water. Wash every day @ least, after exercise, & b4 bed. Used 2 believe greasy food was a cause. More important 2 keep clean, exercise gently. Avoid rubbing or touch skin & avoid excess skin product such as moisterizer. Small amts products as benzoil peroxide - over counter acne cream is big help.

Do not squeeze the blackhead but if you must be sure and wash hands thoroughly for if not you are adding bacteria to the pore. To improve your skin get some WitchHazel without alcohol if you can find but if you can't th witch hazel with alcohol is ok to use -Also Get NEEM SOAP and NEEM OIL-can get at your local Health Food Store soap is about 3-4dollars and Neem Oil approx 20.00 Neem comes from India and it kills bacteria and promotes clear skin among other things. Every AM wash face with Neem Soap, use the WitchHazel-blot and leave on face to tighten pores, kill bacteria-its a from nature antiseptic then finish with a light covering of the Neem Oil. Until your skin clears DO NOT USE Liquid Makeup or Powder if you must some Blush but only a Hypoallergenic which will not clog pores. Do Not Pick Face for every time you do you open pores to bacteria-infection and when you touch another part of your face you area spreading the infection/bacteria-If you pick will take longer if at all to get improved skin.Never go to bed without cleaning face-IT IS A MUST. In the PM again wash face with Neem Soap,Do the Witch Hazel and finish with putting on the NEEM OIL. A blackhead is oil which when gets to surface of pore and air turns black and if no antibacterial used can (not always) turn into pimple-infection.Also Important you take a MultiVitamin (1 every morning)Supplement in the Am and extra Vitamin C with Bioflavenois 500mg-take 1 in the AM,1 aroun Noon and 1 in the PM-the Vitamin C combats infection/bacteria in the system -what your body will not use goes out in the urine -why the VitaminMineral Supplemnt-will promote good health by supplying nutrients you are lacking through diet-will promote healthy skin. I myself would go to a Dermatologist for Prescription Retina A(Retina A in over the copunter is a waste of money for not sufficient amount to do any good. But its not covered by insurance so try the Neem etc first-----should see improvement in approx 2weeks-if yoiu follow directions and DO NOT PICK. Also cut down on sweets and fried foods-esp Junk food-you are what you eat.

Stop, stop, stop and stop doing that to yourself! It's a vicious cycle: you squeeze a blackhead and then its infected enough to form a nasty zit, which in turns makes you want to meddle with it even more. Use some tea tree oil, please.
Keep your hands clean and stop touching your face - this rule 1 of clearer skins. Also, improve your diet - get your liver cleaned out. Speak to a doctor about your condition. Get medication for it if necessary or take a remedy prescribed by a homeopath for a safe, long-term cure.
Meanwhile, scrub your face with a paste of soda bicarbonate and water every other day. Use an antibiotic cream or aloe gel afterwards.
You could also use a gelatin mask to dislodge most of those blackheads: just disolve a tablespoon of plain gelatin in two tablespoons of milk on low heat. When the gelatin granules have liquified, let the mixture cool for a bit. Then lay it on thick on all affected areas, avoiding hair of any kind, and let it set for 20 mins. Then peel off and rinse face. Apply an antiobiotic or antiseptic cream afterwards. (Any gelatin bits stuck in hair can be removed with warm water.)
Also: raw egg yolk applied to the face and left to work for 20 mins - wash off with tepid, not hot, water - can work on acne. Use aloe or tea tree afterwards.

wash your face with hot water to open your pores then use your scrub brush for your back (ya know with the long handle) it hurts ali'l but your skin will be clean then rinse with cool water to close your pores. any bristly thing will work old tooth brush. the bristles dislodge the black head without squeezing or leaving oily bacteria behind. i do this once every two weeks. there is no pain afterwards. and just smooth skin. good luck
