I have been living here for 7 years now since my father is working here on contract. All my relatives are In America. I love and remember America all the time, especially now that Australia has turned their faces away from all the humanitarian things they have learned through the years. This time it is the blacks or Asians. One of their political leaders (Pauline Hansen) is claiming that she will see to it that all African blacks and non-christian people are removed from this country when she will stand for election next year. Can you imagine, whereas America and all other European nations have long removed this race, colour religion segregation for years now, where Australia is going?

Pauline Hansen is not one of our political leaders and never will be unfortunately like every country we have people who know how to incite prejudice. We are a very tolerant country that is made up of immigrants they have built our country yes we have a strong immigration policy but once they are here they fit in and become Aussie.I think considering you have been out of America for 7yrs you might find that the world has changed a bit since 9/11 and not for the better.

Australians are groovy people (although I'm just a wee bit more partial to South Africans...), so my question would be:Why? Why would she be saying those things? I recall last year, a whole gang of Lebanese youth going on a rampage at the beach. Could it be perhaps that certain types of people are wearing out their welcome? Maybe Australians don't want what happened in France a few months ago with the Muslim riots to happen to them. Ever think of that?

Maybe it's time for you to return home, and not worry about which direction THEIR country is taking. Afterall, they'll remain long after you're gone...

They must be taking a hint from what has happened to America. They might think they'll be overrun with them if they don't do something fast. It's the same situation with the Hispanics over here in the USA. It's all for the best.

Believe me that there are people that have feelings against LATINOS just as bad. What I love America is that even though we have freedom of speech, we have politically incorrect things to say. This makes everyone's life easier and we get along better. God Bless America and their effort for racial equality.
