Eat alot of protein. One of the best products to help you gain weight at your age is Peanut butter. Try a tablespoon in the morning and then again at night. Other really good foods are, Potatoes, oatmeal, beans. One of the best foods for young men your age is burritos (homemade of course). It is really easy, take a can of refried beans, heat them up, heat up a tortilla and throw some cheese or whatever you like into it and you have a great food with alot of protein. My is 17 and 5'11" and he is trying "Bulk up" for college football next year, and this is what the trainer and the young man at our health food store told him. Another good thing for you is to eat 6-7 small meals a day instead of huge 3 meals a day. It allows your body to absorb the nutrients and burn them into muscle faster and easier, than overeating. Try a protien shake with banana's in the morning. Don't take creatine, it is very bad for your kidneys, liver, heart and it can stunt your growth at your age. Good luck.. and make sure to "bulk up" the RIGHT way.

Wow... 5'11 as a 15 year old? thats crazy im assuming your only a sophmore so you have about 3 years to get this right before you gotta call it quits. First things first PROTIEN PROTIEN PROTIEN, if your taking in more calories than burning off then your body naturally will begin to gain weigh.. the reason i emphasize protein is because it has everything you need to gain weight and also you can use it as a meal replacement supplement. Also dont just eat anything because you dont want to start putting on fat, you want lean muscle so in conjunction with 3 high calorie meals and 2-3 protien shakes a day you need to somekind of resistance training. The most important thing to concentrate on is your core because this is what stabilizes your body.. for example someone with a 5'11 145lb body could easily run over someone who is 6'2 190lbs with a weak core because they would have no balance. Also eat a high calore meal before you go to sleep because there is no way for your body to burn off those calories while you are sleeping so you will naturally start to gain weight. It also would not hurt if you took creatine because this speeds up the recovery time between your workouts ( You wont be as tired and sore) Also it helps to exagerate your strength while you are on it so you will see results faster in your body definition and strenght. And most importantly just make sure your eating more calories than you are burning off and you will definately gain weight.

I'm a little older than you and I'm 6'0 and weigh 155. I used to be really into sports so I ate a high protien diet and exercised for about an hour a day with weights and swam a mile.
I hurt my back in a wreck, so I can't swim like I used to, but I still work out by swimming. Swimming makes your abs look really good. Especially the butterfly stroke.

Don't worry about gaining weight right now. You're 15! Your body will level itself out. You are old enough however to lift weights. Lifting weights will put weight on as long as you learn how to eat right. Check out this site: http://www.teenbodybuilding.com/ They seem to have some straight forward info you'd benefit from.

But I stress.....don't eat garbage food to gain weight. When you're 15 your metabolism is screaming. Once you're 25 it'll slow down and you'll be sorry for all the bad food you ate.

Good luck...

I'm 17, 5'7 and 125 pounds. i've gained 5 pounds since 6th grade. Unless its really necessary, i'd say you should just be happy with who you are. Unless you're like me, you're probably going to grow more both ways in time, anyway.

Compared to me, you are rather large.....especially you being only 15.

Seriously though....You are still growing, don't think that this is the weight you will always be. Most of it should come naturally.
