The Cream In Ice Cream?

In my class we are making ice cream and I have to bring the cream to make it...I'm not sure what cream to buy...but I bought marshmallow cream...Is that good?

It come in a carton like milk, and called; "Heavy Whipping Cream", that what we always used.

Cream as in a dairy product derived from milk.

A product called half and half is quite comenly used for making icecream.

Ice cream means iced cream as it says and the cream is from the milk that is taken from the cow.

Did you ask how much cream or half and half you would need to buy.

the guy above me is right. You need heavy cream . In the milk section you should find all forms of milk. There should be milk, half and half,buttermilk and heavy cream, sour cream and cottage cheese and yogurt. Only the heavy cream will work for making icecream..
Marshmallow cream is a good topping for icecream though.

You need to buy heavy cream! Though you could use the marshmellow creme to flavor the ice cream! That might be awesome! Good luck and have fun!

you want to go to the milk section of the grocery store and get heavy cream..thats what you use in ice cream..its a lot of fun to make..good luck..
