i am the same height as u and was once the same weight...the lowest i have ever been was 120......weight loss is strictly a matter of energy and energy out...u want burn more calories then u do eat. but this takes a long time and dedicatin...one thing i found helped me lose weight is i had the biggest meal of the day for breakfast and then ate a smaller lunch and the smallest dinner. breakfast is super important u should always eat a well balanced breakfast because if you think about it while u are sleeping u are not eating and the morning is when u have the highhest metabolism so ur body will just rip through the food u eat...if u eat the biggest meal in the evening ur body ill store most of it as fat on ur body because u metabolism has slowed down because you are going to sleep. So excersise is super important and eating healthy like thr right types of carbs and lots lots lots of vegetables not lots of fruits though just a few fruits a day because fruit is till high sugar just a dif form. If u want to lose weight fast do a detox thing like the water with maple syrup but as soon as u start eating again u will pack on those pounds u lost if not more..so just diet and excersise is the best way

okay limit your calories between 1000-1200, you can track that by writing EVERYTHING down that you eat, even fruit and veggies have calories. A major thing i would tell you that will help is no pasta and if you must then choose wheat (I recommend Barilla Plus pastas you can't even tell the difference) Pasta that is white or bread that is white clings to the lining of your stomach, stretches it out and makes you eat more because its more food to fill it up. Limit pastas and bread and you will go far. Also I would try some weight training because even a slight amount of muscles will burn 2x more calories than just exercise and you keep burning even after you stop exercise! Smoothies and slim fast have sooo many calories, sugar, and carbs. Sugar will essentially turn into fat for your body, carbs turn into sugar which turn into fat so watch out when you eat them. try eating a lean piece of meat, a vegetable (NOT POTATO! limit potato intake to 2 times a week!) and maybe fruit for dessert. a low fat low fat/cal dessert is cool whip free onto two halves of a graham cracker make into sandwhich and freeze for 1 hour at least. Strawberry coolwhip is also really yummy. If you have time, incorporate more exercise where you can. If you live close to anywhere then walk, or instead of parking the closest spot park at one of the farthest while shopping etc.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

There is no simple magic way to lose weight.
Diet and Exercise.
You're going to hear a lot of little tips and tricks but it all really boils down to Diet and Exercise. Do both and you will lose weight.
Its really that simple and don't cloud yourself with all this "South Beach" Diet crap or NOT eating before sleeping.
All you have to do is make an effort to do both and you'll be fine. Don't get obsessed with counting calories or whatnot. Exercise regularly and diet. Keep it simple.

I lost 30 pounds in 40 days on a no diet weight loss plan that is easy to use and taste great. Now I use it twice a week as a maintenance plan and I am still dropping every few days. Eat three times a day is a must. Schedule your eating so you don't go to bed sooner than 2 hours after a meal. Nothing between meals. Drink plenty of water at least 9-8oz. glasses a day. Must burn as many calories as you consume even if it is healthy food.
