The center of true christianity came out of Jeruselem and Israel. And will remain the focus forever. But there is an imitation "holy city" that isn't holy at all. The vatican. And Rome. It was the catholic church that made it the center of their religion. But if you look closely the catholic church doesn't at all resemble the early church that began in Israel. There is only one Holy city and that's Jeruselem. And Israel is the center of the entire planet geographically and in scripture. Anytime you see the scripture describing another country when it refers to the "Kings of the east" or west or north etc..... Israel is the starting reference point to all other lands around it. The city that will be floating above the Earth when everything is restored after Christ's coming isn't called the "New Rome" it is called the "New Jeruselem". Halleluiah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jesus was born in Bethlehem. The center of Christianity is not Rome. You are thinking of Catholocism. Many think there is not that much of a difference but are they wrong. The history would take more room than I have to type and take way to long. Read a little do some research and you may find yourself repenting and finding the joy of Jesus Christ in your life. Not to mention eternity in Heaven just another perk haha. Peace out and God Bless.

THe center of Christianity isn't Rome. The center of Catholicism is Rome. Catholicism is a cult. Jesus's real teachings are far from Roman Catholicism.

The true center of Christianity is Jesus himself , his father (God), the Holy Spirit, and the Bible. Not priests, the "pope," the Vatican or Rome.

Because supposedly Jesus came back In spirit and talked to Peter about building his church upon this rock. Peter had exiled from Israel to Rome, and that is where he founded the first Church of Christ, which today is known as the Roman Catholic Church. However, Russian Orthodox claims that Peter went much further than Rome, and settlled in Russia. They believe that the true religion of Jesus is Actually Russian Orthodox. So it all depends on whose side of the story you believe. All other forms of Christianity have just branched off from those two main churches.

Why do you keep asking the same question over and over?

Rome is NOT the center of Christianity.

Rome is the center of the Roman Catholic Church.

There is a difference between what the bible says about being a Christian and what Catholisim says about it's religion here is a web site where you can get information about those differences:

Just imagine the problems... That could be a war everyday.

Peter, needed to raise a temple somewhere, and I think Rome was selected because in that moment no other city in the world could have more penetration... and he converted the most important person in that moment.
