That is really funny and if you saw it, then it's posssible. I saw a cat chasing a dog, that was really funny, but that's besides the point. Anyways, the cat could of stolen the mouse's cheese, i don't know, but that is an answer. Try to get a picture, next time. ;-]

If you saw it, then I guess it must be possible unless you were hallucinating. Any animal can be aggressive - even a mouse. Whether the cat would have figured it out and turned the tables is another matter.

Actually, my cat and dog have gotten chased by a gopher, a rat, and a mouse. I think that sometimes, animals just get fears of smaller things than them. For example, i don't see why people are afraid of tiny spiders (no offense to the people who are). Hope I could help you!

Yes, cats can develop fears just as we do. This cat may of gotten bitten and was simply running away and the mouse was following... or the mouse is very confused!?!

Yes- a young or inexperienced hunting kitty can have the tables turned on them....Our cat, Stumpy chases dogs- gets puffed up & chases them using bushes & plants as screens- gets them on the defense & go for their jugular. The dogs are almost used of Stumpy's behavior & just run the other way- never attacking Stumpy.

Yes. Not all cats are born hunters, and in many cases, the sight of a rat/mouse approaching them, is scary.

Entirely possible. My pet rat lunges at my cat through her cage bars like she wants to tear him a new one.
