Is it safe to drink from a water fountain?

Does the water that goes back into the water fountain contain any microbes from the previous user's mouth?

People have been drinking from water fountains for years. I doubt you have much to worry about.

JUST DON'T PUT YOUR MOUTH ON THE FOUNTAIN. LET THE WATER RUN FOR A COUPLE OF SECONDS BEFORE YOU DRINK AND YOU'LL BE OK.

YES! As with anything though, always wash your hands after being in public places.
