Why is it so important to believe that the people of China are desendants of Adam and Eve? Could God have created them the week before, or the week after he created Adam and Eve.
Would God have thought it was important to tell Moses about his activities in China? Would not Mosses have said, "Where is China?
In short: Could God have had a life before he explained to Moses the creation story about Moses and his ancestors?
Could Moses have understood it if God had explained the creation story in scientific terms?
Hint: How did God explain the cloning of Adams Rib to Eves body?

If, according to the Bible, God said no such thing to Moses (The author of the 1st 5 books) - If God didn't say it, Stop Telling your children such dribble - ok maybe not dribble, but conclusions that are not based on science or the Bible or even logic.
Oh, I see, some one in the Bible later said, we are all descended from Adam and Eve.
Who were the "we" he was referring to? Surely he wasn't really thinking about the people of the world. He was thinking of the people of his world, his ancestors.
At a family reunion, if I say we are descendants of Matthew Thornton, a signatory of the Declaration of Independence, I am not say that you the reader are a descendent of old Matt Thornton.

Some nice person said,
"If God began with Adam and Eve then they are the only ones that count because he is boss."
They are the only one that counts for who? The Jews yes. For us, non Jews, yes, because in effect Jesus adopted us.
But, that does not explain what God had done before he started the Jewish bloodline. If you are not Jewish, you cannot trace your blood line to Adam and Eve. I am sorry about that. It makes you no less of a person. But it does cause athiests to never even consider Christianity as a possible way of finding peace. Why? Because we have come to conclusions that were not Biblical or even logical.- well I am sure you get the idea.

I see we have a Muslim response: Wow, now, I know how we Christians sound to the Athiests.
Maybe, my friend JJ is right. These days we had better just stick with what we got and appreciate God's Blessings. (past and present)
Spare you keyboard, I don't need some Bubba Christian to tell me that I am not a Christian. Jesus is my saviour too.

Well first of all.. do you believe in adam and eve? i am going to assume by this question that you do. And if you truely do believe in them, why is it that you do? because the Bible says so? And if it is because the Bible says so how is it that you can believe only parts of what it says? In my opinion, when it comes to the Bible you cannot just pick and choose which parts you want to believe. You either believe A) it is the inspired word of God and therefore everything it contains is truth, or B) it's a book that man created and therefore there is no reason to believe anything it says... there is no middle ground!
now in Genesis 1 " Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness...” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. " and Genesis 2 For the LORD God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was *no man* to till the ground... And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being." It is clear from these verses that there was no one else before God created Adam.. and he did not make random sets of people for different "nationalities" It has been theorized that when God created Adam.. and later Eve.. that He gave them the perfect gene pool which was very complex and from which all nationalities are derived. So it is not a far stretch to say that chinese, europeans, and africans could have over a long period of time come from the same ancestors.
It is important to believe this because that is what the Bible says to be true.. God created man and woman in His own image - that's it! if you dont believe that you have no reason for believeing the rest of the bible.. for again you cannot pick and choose.
Now in case you are wondering how it is that these different races separated and languages formed.. that would go back to the story of the tower of bable
Genesis 11: "Now the whole earth had one language and one speech...And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.” But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. And the LORD said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. So the LORD scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city" this is how it happened! the people of differnet languages in different places of the earth stayed within their groups and the gene pool thinned out and distinct people groups began to emerge.
to answer the question about moses.. yes God would have had to have explained it to him.. whether He did this though direct speech or by the Holy Spirit i cannot know.. but i do know that i accept all of his word to be true and know that it is important to believe in it. Moses may not have understood all that God was telling him in scientific terms... but he trusted his God and what He said as truth.
my email is KTvandrc@yahoo.com if you would like to have any further conversation about this!
i hope this helps you! :)

I think most of you don't understand the question fully. It is asking why did God tell them to re-plenish the Earth. Break the word down. Re and Plenish. "Plenish" means to fill up. "Replenish" means to fill up AGAIN. Making it sound as if there were lots of people/or something(s) inhabiting the Earth in big numbers BEFORE Adam and Eve... Also, Part of Isaiah 14:13(referring to Lucifer)reads "For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God."kjv. I've heard it said that the Earth was under the rule of Lucifer before his fall. If not, then why use the word "throne"? And what exactly was his to rule? Did he own a throne, or is it some kind of wishful thinking?

Look at just one human cell, how intricate it is, how perfectly designed so much we still do not understand about it.
[002.030] And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Verily, I am going to place (mankind) generations after generations on earth." They said: "Will You place therein those who will make mischief therein and shed blood, – while we glorify You with praises and thanks and sanctify You." He (Allâh) said: "I know that which you do not know."
[002.031] And He taught Adam all the names (of everything), then He showed them to the angels and said, "Tell Me the names of these if you are truthful."
[002.032] They (angels) said: "Glorified are You, we have no knowledge except what You have taught us. Verily, it is You, the All-Knower, the All-Wise."
[002.033] He said: "O Adam! Inform them of their names," and when he had informed them of their names, He said: "Did I not tell you that I know the Ghaib (Unseen) in the heavens and the earth, and I know what you reveal and what you have been concealing?"
[002.034] And (remember) when We said to the angels: "Prostrate yourselves before Adam." And they prostrated except Iblîs (Satan), he refused and was proud and was one of the disbelievers (disobedient to Allâh).
[002.035] And We said: "O Adam! Dwell you and your wife in Paradise and eat both of you freely with pleasure and delight, of things therein as wherever you will, but come not near this tree or you both will be of the Zâlimûn (wrong doers)."
[002.036] Then the Shaitân (Satan) made them slip therefrom (Paradise), and got them out from that in which they were. We said: "Get you down, all, with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be a dwelling place for you and an enjoyment for a time."
[002.037] Then Adam received from his Lord Words. And his Lord pardoned him (accepted his repentance). Verily, He is the One Who forgives (accepts repentance), the Most Merciful.
