Jesus was born in Bethlehem. The center of Christianity is not Rome. You are thinking of Catholocism. Many think there is not
that much of a difference but are they wrong. The history would take more room than I have to type and take way to long. Read a little do some research and you may find yourself repenting and finding the joy of Jesus Christ in your life. Not to mention eternity in Heaven just another perk haha. Peace out and God Bless.

Christianity is not centered in Rome. Rome was just the first country/empire to adopt christianity. Cristianity later split into the eastern orthodox( byzantium) and roman catholic (rest of roman empire). Eastern Orthodox grew as Roman catholosism declined, due to nomadic invasions by groups like the astrogoths, later Byzantium fell to Islam. So rome is not the capital of christianity, although I geuss you could say it is the center of eastern orthodoxy. If you have questions about anything eslse like why the chruch split, feel free to e-mail me.

I don't know who said Christianity was centered in Rome.
I can only summize it's because the first, actual Christian
event of where Constantine became the first Christian emporer,
and he allowed the 'free' practice of Christian worship and eventually proclaiming that 'all' of Rome would worship God.
but in no way does that make Rome the center of Christianity.
Actually, the first Christians were those of the jewish faith who,
after Christs death and ressurection ;believed'.

Why do you keep asking the same question over and over?

Rome is NOT the center of Christianity.

Rome is the center of the Roman Catholic Church.

There is a difference between what the bible says about being a Christian and what Catholisim says about it's religion here is a web site where you can get information about those differences:

Interesting question. I believe Warren H. may be correct. Check out my question "Do you think the birth of the Red Heifers born in the 1990’s is proof that the Messiah will be coming soon?" There is an important message for everyone.

Note: I think there are similar beliefs related to Christianity in the Dead Sea Scrolls. For instance, - Alan Millard, Discoveries From the Time of Jesus "In the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, understood from the Scripture, according to the word of the Lord given to Jeremiah the prophet, that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years."
- Daniel 9:2

because of the fact Saint Peter, the 1st Pope, got here to Rome to construct the Church. in accordance to the legend, he replaced into crucified in Rome, and after him, Rome grew to become the area of the midsection of Christianity. bear in suggestions that Rome replaced into the capital of the Roman Empire, which replaced into at that 2d like the capital of the conventional international, and Christianity might become its inheritor, its successor. for sure, it may actually be in Rome

It's been many places. Jerusalem, Antioch, Phillipi, Alexandria, Rome, then Constantinople....Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 A.D. - Rome was always considered "First Amongst Equals" by the entire church. Peter and Paul were both martyred there.
