Excellent question!
And, if He practiced Judaism, why do Christians NOT practice Judaism, or did Jesus practice the wrong religion?

The center of Christianity was Jerusalem until 70 C.E. when Titus of Rome came and burned the city and tore down the Temple. The dispora occurred and both Jews and Christians were dispersed throughout Asia and Eastern Europe after the fall of Jerusalem and eventual ruin of Israel. Christian churches were already established in Asia Minor and Greece. Your history books will mention the role of the Crusades, Emperor Constantine, etc. Rome ended up being the "home" of the church until the Reformation. From then on, Rome was the home of only the Roman Catholic Church.

Becasue it was a Roman Emperor, Constantine that decreed that thw whole of the world should be Christian and since at that time Rome was the central power in the world, Rome became the center of the early Christian church and after so many centuries, and remained so even in to the modern day.

The Church of Christ began in Jerusalem with the remaining apostles. The most unlikely place on Earth to start Christ's Bride was Jerusalem. The centre of Christianity is not in Rome! The centre of Roman Catholicism is in Rome -Vatican City, to be exact

I would say because the majority of Israel doesn't accept
Christ as the Messiah, but we the Gentiles have and so it would make sense to have the center of our faith in a place with history and a deep faith.
God Bless,
Elisha
