I went to the University of Windsor for one semester (Psychology)and then realized I don't have the motivation to do that for 4 years. I am taking a semester off and then attending either Fanshawe College or St. Clair College in Sept/07 for business - marketing. Am i making a mistake by leaving the U?

Please let me know if you have become highly successful by just getting a college diploma, I would love the encouragement!

I would like to make alot of money when I am done school by starting/running a business of some type, this is why I've decided Psych is a dead-end path for me. I have no one to talk to about this decision though.. HELP ME PLEASE.. advice and honestly will be appreciated.

In the USA, I have never really heard a difference between college and a university. Colleges are just parts of Universities usually but they can be standalone. Its more based on the degree. Only 28% of people above 25 have college degrees at all. In California, rates of graduation from state universities are 43%, do what it is YOU wan't to do. When you get older you'll realize that everyone has taken a different path and that in the end its best to be true to yourself rather than try to impress others.
