I kind of doubt you're Muslim.
But follow the Sunna.
Do not listen to the idiots that are like, "Be like Mohammed, oh oops."
The story of Aisha was to support her and her family. He never had any children with her. What does that tell you?
A 40 year old woman asked HIM to marry HER when he was 25. He married an 80 something year old woman because she was a widow, and needed to be protected.
He married for love and protection, as a man should do. It does not mean he was a sex-crazed looney.
Remember, they didn't have MTV selling sex on their camel caravans back in those times, guys.

Rephrase your question my friend- "Why is it so hard for a man to stay away from woman?" Don't need to categorize yourself with your origin/ religious belief.
Let's face it- we have testicles and most likely we're all healthy and VERY HORNY if we do not have a girlfriend/ wife near by us. In nature, we'll find girls attractive and need their attention.
I can also rephrase your question "Why is it so hard for me not to thinking about having sex with girls..." If that's the case- do other stuff, distract yourself from girls, masturbate to relief your pressure and desire. When the right woman comes, it will happen. No rush. Take your time. We all do it, we all want them, but not all dream come true. So live it up my friend.

Don't say muslim guy when you are referring to yourself, but anyways fast if you really have strong desires, remember, every time you resist temptation you are rewarded.
To resist you have to develop Taqwa (Piety)
Think, "hey, I wanna bang this chick" (Devil's temptation), or "Ill be pious and wait till I'm married (pious)"

a friend(muslim) i know found this very hard, tried to think of bad stuff to keep distracted from them - e.g thinking what they would look like if were 400lbs, ...or not even bad stuff but would think ..yea she is hot but try and concentrate on something else good about her, for example her intelligence,etc...also if he found his nether regions getting a bit attracted too he'd think of bad stuff happening down below - it being chopped off or hurt etc, this usually made him lose thought of how nice girl was and also his erection.
also in reply to 'jocky' guy who answered person asking question is muslim and cannot masturbate as it is harram (bad in the eyes of allah)

it is very hard. the best way to stop an addiction is to try to deflect your attention. if you try to resist then it will make it harder but if you simply try to preoccupy yourself with something else and focus on that then you will be distracted. the hardest time to avoid is when you are bored.
also i hope you mean women and not girls.
