ok, I asked her out 3 weeks ago and she said yes. Everything was fine till her ex BF found out (she went out with him for a yr till he cheated on her) and all of a sudden he starts telling her how he wants her back. So, a week or so ago she told me that she still has feelings for him, but she likes me too and she honestly is SOO confused. I told her its her decision, not mine because i want to be with her and she knows that. My cuz has been in the same situation as my GF and told me that in her case she broke up with her new BF and they just stayed friends. Until she was ready and realised that she didnt want her ex anymore and just wanted to be with her new BF. I dont know whats going to happen...any advice or experiences? I just want a long and stable relationship wit her and im hoping she decides that shes willing to commit. In her words "like i dont even know what im goin through rite now,i cant make it out exactly,i duno wtf im feeling".."i dunno wtf i want"..sigh.what a situation

That stinks. Even though you want to be with her, she never would really be with you would she. You should tell her to go ahead and take some time and think about what she wants. Tell her what you have to bring to the relationship, tell her how you feel about her and tell her that if she is thinking about this other guy a relationship between the two of you wouldn't be fair to either one of you. Especially you because you would be there 100% and she wouldn't. There is really a lot to be said for "If you love (or like) someone, set them free..." It sounds like they just broke up and she could have just been using you to get him back or to make him feel bad. I know that stinks but it is a possibility. Sounds like you are the rebound guy. Is that what you want? How many rebound relationships really work out? Let her go love, if she wants you she'll come back. Best of luck to you.

well. i tHInk its ****** up on her part telling you that she still has feelings for her ex. and would you really want to be in a relationship that you know she still has feelings for her ex? no exactly! and even look they went out for a year so if she does saty with you what makes you think that she wont think of him constantly. Im telling you this cause i was in her situation. its hard. but she cant do that to u or him. and why does he want her back if he dumped her? he may dump her again. boys do those things. she needz to find out wat she wantz cause u cant be waiting her forever to wait her mind i mean c'mon u dont wanna be second plate. iM an upperclassmen in high school. i knoW! and seriously even though u like her so much would u want to go out wit someone that stiil thinks of her ex and if not sure if she likes you when you can go out wit a girl who u knows likes u. k
hopes this helpz let me know wat happens!

Okay you did the right thing by telling her it's her decision. you should tell her how you really feel about her and that you can be a better boyfriend to her than her ex. you sound like a really good boyfriend and guy. if she doesn't want you she don't know what shes missing.

This sounds like Middle School drama. You are too young to have a girlfriend anyway.

If she really likes you, she'll pick you. if she doesn't, move on. There's nothing else you can do. The girl is stupid if she doesn;t like you, since the other guy cheated on her.
