i had to do speech on an abstract noun for speech class. i chose love. so, obviously, I'm an authority.
True love can be experienced in varying forms of completion. The most complete definition of true love i have only found in the Christian bible (now, don't tune me out just yet!): Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. (1 Corinthians 13: 4-7)
That's a tall order, but that's what it takes to feel or give complete true love. Usually, love from other humans only contains partial amounts of this, although, i don't think it is out one's potential. I do believe, though, that god is the only source of complete true love to which you may place all your trust in without being failed.

There a many types of Love
You can love someone, but not be IN love with them. (mother)
You can love your Dog
To me TRUE LOVE is when the love you give is UNCONDITIONAL! that no matter what the circumstances It never falters, It's when you put their needs before your own.
But most of all it's when you look at them and "YOUR HEART SMILES"

True love wants to serve the object of its love.
