No one actually founded Christianity.
Jesus was obviously a prophet for Judaism, which evolved a bit.
Peter was also involved.
Once the Church got going, and got seriously conversional, Pagan religions were incorporated into it, as was some Kabbalah magical practices (Not learned enough to put everything here).
The Romans, near their decline, incorporated many local (conquered) Gods and Goddesses as saints to assist in transition of the local populations.
Christianity is really just a huge brew of all the stuff that was available at the time.

Now all the good Christians, give me thumbs down and all the learned people and realists give me a thumbs up.
Lets see this as a test of faith (or ignorance;)

God had it planned from the beginning to send the Messiah to pay the price for our sins, so He was the founder.

Paul of Tarsus did most of the ground work for the church, but Constantine made the religion official.
