i just got a tattoo thrusday and right now is peeling is this normal

Yes, very normal. If it feels itchy, its healing great. Just keep putting A&D ointment on it, you will be fine. And dont worry about it if some ink bleeds out, totally normal

That is exactly what it should be doing. Geez...do tattoo artist just not tell people about aftercare? Yes, is should peel about 3-5 days after you get the tattoo done. Keep applying lotion, or the recommended product. Do NOT help the peeling. Let it fall off on its own. Just wait for the itching...that's the fun part...

Some peeling is normal. Use a non colored, non scented aloe free lotion on the tattoo. Don't pick at the peeling skin.

Yep, they do that. Be sure to use A&D ointment or the stuff I used called Tattoo Goo. Once the peeling stops it will be healed.

Its sorta normal but if it keeps peeling then you should go to the doctors office... :) <3

yes. your tattoo has to form a scab and then your body will shed that scab as new fresh skin forms underneath. just keep applying lotion and don't scratch or pick at it.

My boyfriends a tatoo artist, yes its perfectly normal!

what do you mean peeling? if it is just the scab coming off your fine...

Put unscented, non healing lotion on it.
