I think you're referring to "Life is beautiful" the Oscar awarded movie with Roberto Benigni. In this movie he was calling his wife "la mia principessa". However if this is the matter I don't understand what you want to know. The actress featuring in the movie is also the wife of Benigni in the real life and her name is
Nicoletta Braschi.
