Not necessarily.
I look like my aunt (Dad's sister).

First off shame on you to be so concerned with looks. Everyone is gonna change even you no matter what you do. What you describe sounds more like her mother's attitude than her physical appearance. How much does your girlfriend look sound and act like her mother now. if not at all or only a little here and there, you might be OK, if she is like her mother now, she's more likely to be like her mother later on. Treat her better than her mother was treated and you could make all the difference in the future.
Now if I were her I would dump you for being a shallow, chauvinistic throw back who needs to come into the new millennium

Does she look like her mother now? That is always a good indicator as to how people will look when they are older. The way in which fashions change over time can also affect the way a person appears. Perhaps is she shares your opinion of her mothers image, she will make every effort to ensure that she does not go down the same road.

Take a good look at your girl friend and see if she favors her mother or her dad. There is a slim chance she will not look like her mom but in all honesty if ya love this gal she could change into butt ugly and you would never notice. Look on the bright side yer not going to marry her mom and there is a good chance you will go blind when ya get into yer elder years...

Please tell me u are not going to marry her based on her current looks alone. Has she got a respectable, liking personality? Her features nor her mother's should be of to much concern. I'm not saying date an ugly girl if u dont want to, but if ur speaking in terms of marriage, perhaps maybe she is old enough where her physical features are fully developed? Which, in ur case, might mean that u dont have to look into the face of ur soon to be mother-in-law when u look at ur soon to be wife!!!

There is a good chance she won't look like her mother. It just depends if she got more of her mom's genes or dad's genes. She can probably resemble her mother, but not look exactly like her. My mom looks nothing like her mom does. I could on and on about mothers and daughters that don't alike. Rest easy. She probably will look just fine.

The saying does go, "Look at the mother to see what she'll look like in 20-30 years." I mean she did come from that woman--shares her genes and chromosomes.

Well... she can't look exaclty like her mother because she has to have some traits of her father... or her grandmother! So yea... she may look some what like her mother but not completely... But when you guys get married you might not be looking so hot either! lol...

Hey, listen I don't think that is a good way to put it if you love her and it is your girlfriend! Remember, not all genetics are passed down to children, and you might be able to look over that if you really love her!
Best of luck,
