My last question is the same, the only problem is, I got a good answer only I don't understand how to get the program. Someone said, "use the system restore point feature which comes with windows xp operating system, the restore points allow you to go to a specific date on your computer, if you go to a date before you emptied your bin you should be able to restore your files "

How do I use the system restore points?
Or are there any other programs to get back the files, I removed them to my recyle bin and then I emptied it by accident, how can I get them back

First of all,click

Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore

Then option should be on "Restore my computer to earlier time"
Click Next. choose the date, then again click next.
This way you can start system restore, but........

I will like to inform you that, system restore cannot, recover deleted files from recycle bin.
It can only undo harmful changes, when you realize that, you have set some wrong configuration or installed some harmful programs which is giving problems while starting your comp.

What you need is this, a recovery software

to recover deleted files from recycle bin

The system restore points can be reached in the following way

Start menu
All Programmes
Accessories
System Tools
System Restore

then select 'Restore my Ssytem to an earlier time'

and use the calendar to pick the time to restore.

However, System Restore is designed to only recover system files, not necesarily data files. It is intended for recovering your system after a bad programme of driver is loaded that corrupts system files and is designed not to touch the user files. System Restore should ignore file types associated with office documents, photo images, music files etc. My understanding is that it doesn't back them up in a Restore Point, and this means it won't restore them.

Another approach is to use a recovery program. There are several others - pick one that reviews as spyware free.

Zero Assumption. http://www.z-a-recovery.com/
They have a freeware version.

here is another http://www.pcinspector.de/file_recovery/uk/download.htm

these tools are slow - when you delete a file what happens is the data is left on the hard drive - and the reference for finding the file is erased. File recovery tools have to scan the hard drive to find these file fragments and rebuild a table from which you can . This takes time. - possilbly several hours depending on the size drive and speed of your computer.

Well I'm not the guy who said that but I'll tell you how to get your files back. :) First click on the start menu at the bottom left of your computer screen and a list will show up. Then click on all programs. Then click on accessories, system tools, then system restore. There a window will pop up. Click restore my computer to an earlier time. There you will see a calander chart. Click on a time you want to go back. After that click next. You will be prompt to reboot. I hope you get your files back and enjoy!

If the restore point is required fo you to do it go ahead, none of your documents or other files will change but if you want you can go ahead and transfer your files to your documents folder to make sure, as far as i know it doesn't change anything but it does take 15% of space of your drives.

click start , then go to all programs...its under accessiores.. .now this doesn't always help...I deleted game files and tried it..and no luck... You could also use search.. and look for key words in the file you deleted...sometimes...you can find the base file.. and reinstall the file..
