i see this everyday at work. have you seen an orthopaedic surgeon? have you had a mri of your low back? that is your best start. it sounds like a disc herniation or spinal stenosis, (but spinal stenosis is more common in older folks) you can look them up on http://www.spineuniverse.com chiropractors are good if they relieve your pain, but if there is a problem, they can't fix it -just make you feel better. sometimes you can get a steroidal injection in your back called an epidural steroidal injection which can help your symptoms if you are not a surgical candidate. sometimes just some physical therapy is helpful too. either way, there is a doctor out there that can help you. keep your chin up and keep looking. good luck.

I am not a Dr. but I can tell you and I hate to tell you that you may not get rid of your back pain. Did you injury your back or did it come on all of a sudden. I watched a TV show last night about back pain as I do know so many people that suffer from it and it interviewed a gentleman that had been in constant pain for 5 years and he went to a Hospital in Ontario Canada where they were doing a study and he did exercises for 7 months and one day the day before Christmas the pain left him and it was like a miracle to him. The technique that they use was called flossing the muscles in the back.
I wish I could help you and I wish that there was a DR on here that could snap his fingers and make you better but I am sorry to tell you that you may be suffering for awhile before you get better. Keep trying and don't give up on the endless methods one will one day help you...

Girl, I'm not a doctor yet, but I will be in two years. What you are explaining sounds like a pinched nerve. It can send "shocks" of pain through-out your back and legs, feet and toes depending on where in your lower back the nerves are being pinched. I would try a chiropractor first and if he can't "pop" it back into place, then you need to talk to doctor that specializes in nerve damage. Good luck

Dr Phil. Dr Phil is a truly health care professional. For twenty years or extra he has been writing books for all forms of disorders that men and women have. About 10 years in the past (do not quoteme on that) he gave the impression as a visitor at the USA day time exhibit Oprah. He used to be so victorious that Oprah invited him again a few instances. That used to be the impetus for his possess TV exhibit. I feel he now employs extra that one hundred men and women and earns practically up to Oprah.

Taking something for the pain won;t fix the reason .you should consider, seeing an osteopatic practioner.they have awesome results with pinpointing the problem..ie something out of position ,pinched nerves etc.worth checking out..don't expect your regular Doc to support that idea, perhaps exrays too?
