me and my boy recently got together but i'm not sure how far i should go as a girlfriend... is buying him jewellry and engraving it going to far for a new relationship? because even though we have been on and off for the past 3yrs, it has only recently become offical. im overseas at the moment.. is sending him a card too much? how about emailing? should i just cool it... do you think he minds?

Relax, if you've been together this long, stressing over every little thing that you do will cause him stress. Either do it or don't. Judge by his reaction, but calm down.

Do what ever you feel like to express how you feel for him. Maybe send him a sweet card with a picture of you, and a short caring note. A small gift to show you're thinking about him won't hurt either.
