Yes, it's a nasty little mite that embeds itself in the dogs skin and causes horrible looking crusty sores and tremendous itching in the dog. The dog loses its fur from the mites and from itching and chewing on itself. It is very contagious and the dog must be seen by a vet and given medications to get rid of it. It's nasty

Yep. It is highly contagious to other dogs and people as well. It is where the phrase "Mangey Dog" came from. They get major hair loss and terrible itching.

yes, so what is your question? If your dog has mange you need to manage it with your vet. It is very uncomfortable for your dog.

Yes, it is a contagious mite. The best way to treat it is Revolution, a topical spot on.
