Anything about it's weather, the fog, the highlands almost anything would be great!
I'm writing a paper on Picts (indigenous group of Scotland in the (1st-8th century) and I am drawing a blank on words to create a setting. I have found Scotland tourist sites to be not very helpful :(

How about: Lazy sultry tropical sedentary scorched liquid sweaty sizzling arid dehydrated caustic evaporated Also, you should add further descriptive words in front of these to really make a vivid picture. Like: The sizzling asphalt became liquid in the peak heat of the afternoon sun. It also will help if you think of descriptive words which describe each sensory function. Such as: I could see the heat waves modulating off the pavement. The buzz of the cicadas emitting their somber drone of summers sweltering oppression. The fragrance of magnolia filled the heave summer air. All I tasted was a salty dry.... The touch was damp due to the excessive sweating
