when you can drive your old enough to date. ehehe. i think that even though people may start having crushed as young as 10... the idea of dating is to find a life partner.. eg. husband or wife... so you really have to think about whether you hang on and date until your ready to get married. because i endorse no sex before marriage, you usually need to realise that when you start dating you are counting down to ur marriage and if you cant wait very long to get into your crush's pants.. then you are a bit screwed. so if you want to marry at around 20-21 then you could start dating at 16-17 but if your looking to marry later, you might need to think about waiting.

It really depends. Many people start liking someone or having a crush on someone around sixth grade. The appropriate age to start dating I would say at youngest 14 but mainly around 16 or so.

I had my first date when I was 16, which I think is the normal age for people to start dating and going out!

It totally depends on maturity level of the individual.....most say 16 yo. You also need to ask yourself what are you trying to get out of a relationship, if you were to get in one at 16 yo. Would it simply be a distraction from what you need to be doing, goals you should be setting?
Basically, if you can still achieve what you need to do, when you need to, then its fine around 16 yo.

I don't know if you're really mature enough to date before you're fifteen, but a lot of kids date before they're fifteen, so... I don't think you shouldn't have sex before you're fifteen though, and there, fifteen is the lowest age acceptable.
