If a guy like me (17) makes eye contact with a girl walking past or in a crowd or like at an airport, what are some of the things that you would want a guy do do or say? for instance should you keep looking at each other or smile or say hi and then walk on? what do you think should happen?

Haha im 17 too and i adore awkward situations like these. Personally, its always effective to smille and then look back, and if you get a smile (which you inevitably will) then go ahead and start a conversation. Even if shes non totally into you, every girl loves the extra attention of a random introduction. I have a boyfriend but its always flattering to catch the attention of other guys, even if it goes no further than a smile and a shared moment.

I don't really think about what *should* happen.
If I make eye contact, I look away and go on with my business. Then maybe I'd look again if I thought they were worth a second or third glance, lol.
But that's just me. I just observe.

Just smile and if she smile back at you then take a step further, maybe say 'Hi', then if she responded, that means you have to start a conversation if you want to...

i would want the guy to talk to me...depending on how long you guys made eye contact...if it was just brief...or if she was smiling at the same time. i personally, either way, would like the guy to talk to me.

say hi and spark a bit of a conversation like, is it vacation or what.. where they're going, where you're going.. flirt.. don't be dumb and seem like a creepy stalker, just be polite and giver her your email addie and get her to email you so you can continue the convo elsewhere

what does your gut tell you being kind and curtious and always a gentleman is the right approach always show respect and never use or mislead anyone cause you surely get what you give eventually
