Can homosexuality be explained as a actual moral dilemma to humanity or is the only logical way to call it a sin is to say "because god says it is a sin.

whenever it is argued so feverenty here in america it seems like all they say is that is a sin and against faith. It seems like they are only saying "'cause god said so."

what human harm does it do?

Other than you cant procreate with the same sex, there really isnt any kind of problem that "always" occurs. Some will say that it breeds other bad sexual behaviors, pedophelia, beastiality or whatever but, this is also something that happens with "straight" people too and thats a whole other ball of wax. I believe it is sinful in God's eyes but there is a LOT that is and Im not innocent myself so I dont worry about whos gay or who isnt so long as they arent hurting anyone. However I do have a bit of concern as to why there are sooooooooo many gays/lesbians now, especially among the young folks. I cant help but think some are jumping the bandwagon so to speak because our hormones are crazy when we're young anyway and it might come to these kids in a few years that they're really NOT gay/lesbian and there wont be anyone to help them get over it. Trust me, if you dont believe in God, telling them God doesnt like it, doesnt help anything and even if you DO believe in God, praying doesnt always help either. There is no decent support for those who dont want to be gay and some of these people are gonna be stuck.

No, but I don't understand why its not a birth defect, being that only that you are a straight man or woman, so those born that way would be a birth defect. Those molested as children they would be defected mentally because of the abuse of the mind and sole. Those rejected by society because they could not find a place to fit in, would be defected by society. So as you can see this is a very complex issue, if the government would label them defected then the church would have to accept them, because God does not condemn the defected. Now these people have feeling and they can not stop what has been done, you were born the way you are and so were they and what about the children that get molested, society rejects them too and they fight to find there identity, they can not tell you because you will say I' sorry for you but humans can seance when you look at then and say to yourself I bet he's gay. So it's time society accepts these people as humans not as sinners or not human like us

I am afraid I don't get what your asking/on about. Are you looking for Paedophilia's, attempting to explain and justify their behaviour by way of saying its natural?? If you are you are in the wrong place. Documented reporting has shown time and again that the highest risk of being a child abuser is the natural parents. Of them the most often person to offend is the father. Next in line is the loving brother and sweat uncles. With religious followers not far behind in pedophilia activity. It is in fact interesting to note that openly homosexual men are a long way down on the list of possible offenders. Almost 100% of all homosexual pedophiles are secret about their sexuality. Now why would that be? So if you truly want to get a response you should be posting your question in the religious or maybe family or men's health section. But rewrite it and dump any mention of homosexuality as we have little activity in this problem. And before I go. Yes Pedophilia is a natural occurring condition. Its as natural as eating, going to the toilet or heterosexual/homosexual/bisexual sex. I believe that I should expect to be shown tolerance and understanding for my homosexuality because the people in my bed are of an age to be able to make an informed decision. (Not children.) Where as in the case of sex with a child. The child is not mentally capable to make an informed decision. Because of this, laws in Western Countries do not allow for it. Therefor despite a Pedophile explaining that his sexual needs are natural, none the less they are also illegal for the reasons I have just mentioned.

There are those who like to say that the Bible does not condemn homosexuality. Lev. 18:22, "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination."

Homosexuality is clearly condemned by the Bible. It goes against the created order of God. He created Adam and then made a woman. This is what God has ordained and it is what is right. Unlike other sins, homosexuality has a severe judgment administered by God Himself. This judgment is simple: They are given over to their passions. That means that their hearts are allowed to be hardened by their sins (Romans 1:18ff). As a result, they can no longer see the error of what they are doing. Without an awareness of their sinfulness, there will be no repentance and trusting in Jesus. Without Jesus, they will have no forgiveness. Without forgiveness, there is no salvation.

What should be the Christian's Response to the Homosexual?

Just because someone is a homosexual does not mean that we cannot love him (or her) or pray for him (her). Homosexuality is a sin and like any other sin, it needs to be dealt with in the only way possible. It needs to be laid at the cross, repented of, and never done again.

As a Christian, you should pray for the salvation of the homosexual the same you would any other person in sin. The homosexual is still made in the image of God -- even though he is in grave sin. Therefore, you should show him same dignity as anyone else you come in contact with. However, this does not mean that you are to approve of their sin. Don't compromise your witness for a socially acceptable opinion that is void of godliness.

Some religions condemned the practice because it does not increase the size of the tribe. There's just people trying to control other people's lives. The bible calls it a mortal sin - just like working on saturday and insulting your parents.

Infertible couples also can't have babies - are they sinning? Of course not.

Well you are asking a very Good question and I can only answer this to the best of my knowledge. I also am a Christian and believe in Gods commandments so therefore what Gods tells me is how I should live my life. No one is perfect but God says not to lie down with the same sex that it is bestiality and without going away from this will be sent to the lake of fire on judgement day along with the hormongers lairs and thieves. But with repentance comes salvation.

Romans vs 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

What this verse is saying is that without Jesus you are not going to reach the Kingdom of heaven.

Now another thing is that if you are Gay or Bisexual the you can believe in the Lord under one condition you give up you being Gay or Bisexual b/c Faith without works is useless it says in the bible. what that means is example:

If you kill someone is that not wrong yes of course it is. So lets say a man that is devout in God word goes to church every Sunday kills people for enjoyment. Will he reach the kingdom of heaven no ( because faith without works is useless)

unless you obey Gods commandments and try for him to be the best Christian you can be even if you are not perfect and get tempted you can still be saved by Jesus Christ and reach heavens gates.

So yes it is a sin by God and that just how it is. If your mother says it's not good to steal something are you going to disagree to please yourself. No you obey her commandment or you pay the price by getting caught one day and going to jail for a long time right the same with God the rules are very simple it's up to you to stay away from the per pressure of todays day and age and do whats right. It takes a bigger person to be a good righteous Godly person you don't see many these days.

Sin...no sin...whatever...it's not normal or natural to put things UP the rectum and any doctor worth his degree will tell you this as well as the many, many medical problems it creates for the person doing this.

It does not cause as much harm as judging and showing lack of support for everyone. If people today insist on using passages described in the Bible to condemn homosexuality, why not be bound by the other rules and rituals? Leviticus also prohibits: Wearing certain types of jewelry, eating certain kinds of meat, and amongst others wearing clothing made from blended textiles (cotton-polyester blends).

Besides helping to spread disease , the important thing to remember is it IS against what God intends. It's NOT normal and is an abomination.
