I have my resume formatted into windows works word processor but once I email it out the people that I email it out to can't open it due to the fact that its in works and not word, or is there another way that I can write my resume where every employer will be able to access it once I email it out????? PLS HELP ME

openoffice.org! The best FREE alternative to MS Office. I use it all the time and I love it! why pay hundreds when you can get it free!

Santos's suggestion, OpenOffice.org, is a great one. OpenOffice.org will save as a Word document, so anyone with MS Word will be able to open it without any difficulty.

In Works Word processor, open your resume. Choose File-->Save as, and choose Word doc.

PS: There is no legal way to "freely" download Word. However, if you want to see your document after you save it as a doc file, then you can use the Word viewer:
