Your stomach has acid in it that is more acidic than that of a car battery, and every time you throw up that acid eats at your esophagus lining, throat, and even your teeth. you also lose essential nutrients that your body needs. another reason, is if you do that long enough, your body will start "think" that you are SUPPOSED to throw up the food you eat, and you will soon begin to feel the need to throw up more often. which will result in hair loss, your teeth will weaken and ache, and obviously you will lose a morbidly high amount of weight, and you'll start to look like a mummy. you will have eyes that are sunken in, you will even pass out, possibly rupture your esophagus, and eventually death will follow. does that answer your question?? if you throw up to lose weight, that is a big mistake. it may seem harmless now since you only do it twice a day, but you are robbing your body of essential nutrients. and you may even start to increase the times you throw up later on.

Throwing up on purpose is called Bulimia. Aside from what the others ^ wrote about the stomach acids eventually eating away your tooth enamel AND your digestive tract, AND your esophagus, etc., it is an eating disorder. When you vomit up your food, you are not giving your body the chance to absorb the nutrients from it. While it may help you to lose weight, you are putting your health at risk in MANY ways, and many of the long term effects of it are irreversible.

When you vomit, stomach acid comes up through the Esophagus. The more acid contact on the Esophagus, the more it becomes possible for the acid to eat through the Esophagus lining. Stomach acid can also eat the enamel off of your teeth. This is all besides the obvious problem of developing an eating disorder!

The contents of your stomach are very acidic. When you vomit you expose the delicate parts of your mouth, throat, and esophagus to the errosive contents of your stomach. When you do this repeatedly you risk damaging these parts. Also, your body will naturally want to replace the acid in your stomach by taking important electrolytes from your blood causing electrolyte imbalances that can damage your heart, nervous system, kidneys, etc. If you feel compelled to force yourself to vomit, then you should tell your doctor. He can help you.

the acids in your stomach in time will erode your food pipe then u will not be able to keep any down ...u may need a feeding tube if the food pipe erodes away completely.. second= u will be missing the nutrients your body needs to function and third=over time u will look like a walking skeleton bones with skin wrapped around them.... try to weigh the pros and the cons before u decide to become bulimic
good luck to you !!

Well, first of all you can become bulimic if you are not already and the acid in your vomit can do damage to your teeth. After a while they will eventually rot. You will become insanely skinny, like anorexic skinny and could die. Just don't do it, it isn't worth it.

The acid will rot your teeth and erode your throat. Not to mention you'll get to doing it more and more until you become fully-blown bulimic. There's a reason you only throw up when you're sick; you're not supposed to do it.

electrolyte imbalances in your blood inhibiting your organs from doing their job, kidneys not filtering, etc. Acid from stomach contents destroying enamel on your teeth. Not having nutrients needed to nourish your skin or hair leading to a thinning and breaking off of your hair, the list goes on...please do further research!!! Heart failure is another consequence!! I am not exaggerating, please don't do this if you are!!
