I've been talking with this girl I like for a while now, but we seem to get stuck in our conversations a lot. Just a lot of "Yeah..." and "So..." if you know what I mean. It's that awkward silent moment that bothers me. It's almost as if we've run out of things to say.

Is this normal?
Is there any way around this?
How can I avoid it?

well its better than not being able to get out of a conversation when you are in a hurry or don't really like a person. when you've already discussed things of common interest then maybe talk about the weather, comment on current events tomkat and britney are hot topics! i think it is normal when you are trying to impress the person and you are trying to be careful with what you say. when akward moments occur try adding a little more depth in the conversation. talk about your passion. talk about something you know well about, and something that you can introduce to her so that you will have an interesting conversation. take her stand on news/debates. you can also have fun and bet on whos gonna bring home a grammy or whos gonna get injured next on nba. it depends on your common interests.
