what should i wear around my roommate?

I am a straight boy 23, roomate is a guy, and he is 20.... what do you think i should wear on each situation.....

1)just chilln in the living room watching tv ......
2)to bed .......
3) when walking around the house in the morning ....
4)working out ........
5) mowing the yard (sumer time)

as much details would be beneficial and will earn you best answer. Thanks for your time in answering it!!!!!!!!

Basically whatever you feel comfortable in. As long as your roomate is straight anything should be fine. mowing the yard you should probably throw shorts on because of other people. But in the house, as long as you dont share a bed, boxers should cover enough.

But say you don't want to do this. Ok. First and foremost, it's important to ask yourself what YOU are comfortable. 1) What do you feel comfortable wearing in these situations? 2) If he was wearing something similar, how would you feel? This can give you a good idea of guidelines.

1) Chillin watching tv: shorts and a t-shirt are perfectly acceptable.
2) To bed: If you are in your own bed with your own bedroom, that's totally up to you. If you share a bedroom or if you are heading towards your bedroom? Minimally you should be wearing underwear.
3) Walking around the house: Think about if you walked into a group of his friends in your place. What should you be wearing? Again, t-shirt and shorts are perfectly acceptable.
4) Working out: Do you have a workout area in your place? Or is this somewhere outside your apartment/dorm/etc? In your place, guys typically will take off their shirts working out (keeping shorts or pants on). Out of the apartment? t-shirt and shorts.
5) Mowing the yard: minimally, shorts.

Remember, many people have hangups with dress and how much skin you show. It's important to listen to him if he has issues with your dress - but also to be clear when his demands sound ridiculous.

wow you kindof sound like a girl asking these questions. you can pretty much wear anything as a guy or even go shirtless.

1. shorts, shirt, anything you want just don't wear tighty whities because ppl will laugh at you
2. nakeds, unders, or full pj's . if you share a room with him then i wouldn't suggest going naked
3. you can totally wear just boxers getting out in the morning. if i saw a guy wearing a robe i would laugh, i don't know it just looks kindof funny. throw on a t shirt if you want to or just get dressed to house clothes.
4. work out, just a tshirt, jogging pants, something loose and comfortable, shorts, tennis shoes, socks
5. most likely during this time of year you could wear shorts, t shirt, wife beaters

really i don't think you need to worry about the clothes you wear around other guys unless you all have a group of preppy friends even then you really don't need to think much about it. girls on the other hand......sigh. you are lucky

He is just your roommate and men like you what is the big deal of wearing something, not unless you are trying to impress him just be yourself and wear what ever you feel like wearing in any part of the house. Sooner or later you will be comfortable wearing anything in the long run why not start now.
