It will take the outrage of the American people to throw out any politician who turns a blind eye to the travesty of uncontrolled illegal immigration.

Yes it is worth it to screen welfare recipients.

It is unfortunate but there are 2 bills that will probably end up passing next year. It is not what the people want but what the politicians want. I used to think that the idiots we vote into office would listen to the people but, instead they listen to the CEO's of too many companies.

It will take an ethical government which is just as concerned to clear up tax fraud by those wealthy enough to hire the best accountants. Tax fraud probably costs our society more than welfare fraud.

I think welfare reform didn't go far enough in just basically abolishing welfare....people will take handouts as long as they're offered them...stop the handouts, end the problem...write your congressman today!

Yes, screen them! Too many able-bodied people are on the dole and could be doing those jobs "Americans don't want to do."

we need to stop being so damn politically correct and start asking for proof of citizenship for services and denying people who are not citizens and their freakin anchor babies. just b/c you come in here and drop your little sucker doesn't mean he/she is should be entitled to our services. especially since they'll start poppin them out in another 13 years anyhow!
