I DO NOT WANT TO HEAR ABOUT WHICH IS RIGHT OR ANYTHING OPINIONAL PLEASE!!!
This is not a question seeking out religious help. I know that I am a Christian. For personal research, I truly want to know some differences between Christian and Muslim principles.
KEEP READING PLEASE!
I don't want to hear that one will get you to Heaven and one won't or one is noble and pure and one is full of lies.
Please just tell me the difference between their rules, their laws and their practices. FOR EXAMPLE, Christians are allowed to drink, but Muslims aren't. If you could be so kind as to direct me to an accurate website-no books please, I need this information today-or tell me from personal experience.
Already being a Christian I know plenty of Christian principles, so I wouldn't mind if you only know about Muslims and can't compare them.
PLEASE KEEP READING!
I just need to know about Muslims so I can compare it with Christianity. Thanks so much if you read this! And thanks for answering!

perhaps those other 5 girls you mentioned are also flirtatious or what that's why the boys hated them. i don't know if you have seen that debate thing on bbc. one team said that the scarf should still be worn until now, while the other one said that nowadays, muslim women should be allowed to not wear the scarf. they had good points there about the wearing of the scarf. anyway, i think it isn't fair for the 'accultured' muslims to be hated because they don't wear the scarf.i for one don't wear the scarf, not yet. but i still dress properly, no mini skirts whatsoever.but i cannot avoid being mistaken as a kafir. and yea, i do practice my faith . it is just that i don't wear the scarf,long-sleeved blouses and long skirts. i have this friend who is also a muslim. but they wear revealing clothes, they drink on certain occasions, and they don't practice their faith. perhaps, rarely.whenever she shares, i sort of feel angry because even though she's a proud muslim, they don't act the way a muslim should act. it's like they're just muslims by the name. well, she's still my friend though.

Islam denies/rejects the devine nature of Jesus, Son of the one true God.
Christianity is spiritually oriented. In other words, the "reward" from this life is received in the spiritual.
Islam hasn't a clue as to what the afterlife is about, which is why Muhammed spent so much time describing it from a PHYSICAL perspective.
Basically, islam was invented by Muhammed and is a belief system based upon HIS views.
Christianity is a religion based upon the love and mercy of the one true God.

Here are some things about Islam for you to compare with Christianity:
1. While Muslims believe in the validity of the Bible, they believe that the original teachings given to Jesus were distorted over time, so that a new scripture (the Qur'an) was needed.
2. While Muslims believe in Jesus (Isa) and the idea of an immaculate conception, and see Mary (Maryam) as a perfect example of womanhood and faith (a whole chapter is devoted to her in the Qur'an), Jesus is not God (the same as Allah) or God's son. He was merely a human being that was a messenger of God, and is also called 'the Messiah'. In Islam, what happened at Jesus' crucifixion is unclear. Some Muslims argue that Jesus was replaced on the cross by someone else. However both Mary and Jesus are revered, Jesus can be considered the most important messenger after Muhammed and the Qur'an contains accounts of his miracles.
3. Muslims do not believe in a concept of the original sin.
4. Muslims believe in and revere the following people as prophets: Abraham (Ibrahim), Noah (Nur), Joseph (Yusuf) and John the Baptist (Yaya), as well as some others. This means that they were agents of God, so to speak, and examples of how to live with faith. However, some prophets are elevated to the status of messengers, meaning that they brought God's word to people: Moses (Musa), Jesus and Muhammed.
5. Muslim rituals include praying 5 times a day, fasting during the holy month of Ramadan, refraining from eating pork and consuming alcohol and drugs, and many other such things. With a little bit of research you can find a lot of these!
6. Islam recognises Jews and Christians (well, Nazarenes, but this is usually understood to expand to any followers of Christ, but this might be unclear, I don't know too much about it so you will need to do some research) as 'people of the Book', and states that they can expect Heaven on the Day of Judgment.
7. The concept of Satan (Shaitan) in Islam is a little unclear. Muslims believe that a jinn (a spirt) who lived amongst the angels in heaven called Iblis refused to bow to Adam, believing himself superior, and thus was cast from Heaven. It's not certain though if Satan is Iblis himself or others like him, in any case Satan tempts people away from their faith and into doing evil things. Satan's major enemy is humanity rather than God, God is aware of him and knows what he is doing.
8. Adam and Eve (Hawwah) are accounted for in the Qur'an, and the Biblical account is more or less preserved. However, Eve was not created from Adam. In the Qur'an men and women were created equally, all of mankind being created from a blood clot, and men and women split from a single cell in equal halves.
9. Muslims believe in angels as beings made of light who praise God constantly and who do not have free will, but do God's blessing. The Angel Gabriel (Jibrail) is often mentioned, having notified Mary of Jesus' birth and also having revealed the Qur'an to Muhammed, and the Angel Michael (Mik'ail) provides living things with nourishment. Muslims also believe that two angels attend each human on their right and left side, one writing down all good deeds and sayings, the other bad ones, and that these accounts will be presented in a trial-like event on the Day of Judgment.
10. The Muslim holy day is a Friday, and it is considered of utmost important to go to the Mosque on that day.
11. Islam has no official clergy, rather self-appointed scholars, who prove their knowledge by having extensive knowledge of the Qur'an and Islamic history and jurisprudence.
12. To convert to Islam, one must simply say 'There is no God but God and Muhammed is his messenger' in Arabic.
13. Islam is arguably a political religion - Muhammed was a messenger of God according to Muslims but he also had the important task of uniting the warring Arab tribes. Much of Islam is therefore based in this early politics.
14. Islam has a concept of Heaven and Hell, but you will go to each depending on how well you've followed the scripture given to your particular community. This is confusing in the modern world. In any case, those who are moral, just and faithful can expect Paradise.
15. Muslims are required to give charity (zakat) to the poor - this is stipulated as a third of their income.
16. Muslims are encouraged to go on pilgrimage at least once in their lives, but don't have to if they can't afford it because they are poor or ill. The places of pilgrimage are Mecca and Medina.
17. The most holy days for Muslims in the year are Eid-al-Adha, marking the end of pilgrimage, and Eid-Al-Fitr, at the end of Ramadan. Some Muslims also celebrate certain Jewish holidays, and Shia Muslims note the day that Imam Hussein (the grandson of Muhammed) died as a special day of mourning.
18. The Qur'an is not just a spiritual document but also a legal one, in that it contains edicts and rules for Muslim life from how to make contracts, to how to do banking, and many other such things.
Also.. for the person who answered under me.. it might be interesting to know that bathing daily, as well as soap, were imported to Europe because of the influence of the Arabs after the Crusades. So, you have Muslims to thank for smelling so good.
