Have you ever wondered why there are no bullet holes in the statues; Do you ever wonder if it was hot; if reenactors use live ammo; how did they know where to be so they could fight? I think I covered most of the common questions!

The areas where the battles were fought were NOT National Parks either before or during the battles. They were designated as National Parks only after the battles were fought there.

They were not national parks when the wars were fought. The places were make parks to commemorate the various battles that took place on the land.

They are not. They are only made National Parks after the battles are fought there. IE, Gettysburg National Park. That was named so after that famous battle in honer of those that died there.
