I actually know what you're talking about. When my boyfriend is being all sweet and romantic, he kinda talks that way (and he's usually pretty deep-voiced too). You don't sound gay, I promise. You sound caring. When a guy shows tenderness to a girl, it's awesome. So, yeah. Don't be shy about it; it's natural.

I notice it... but I think it's sweet. I guess it doesn't for me, but for some girls, depending on 'status', would differ from me. They would say you are gay, and I personally don't think that. People that aren't 'popular' wouldn't think you're gay, they would think it's sweet, and cute... like I do. So, don't worry, it'll all work out. Girls are hard to read... I would know, I am one. So just be yourself, and I know that'e really cliche, but you'd be suprised. Being yourself and confidence are good things to have when you're around girls. Just don't notice it and then it wont bother you. tell me how it works out for you!

My son teases me endlessly because of my "romantic voice". So yeah I can relate. I never even noticed until he said something.

Sometimes. Depends. If your trying to seem more friendly, it'll get higher. If your trying to seem more tough, it'll get deeper. If your barely going through puberty, that is more likely to happen is suppose.

I think that it is instictively done, because women respond more to softer voices, or higher voices...It is less threatening to us, than a deeper and more gruff voice.
