Are you under stress? (Recent move, family issues, changed jobs, etc.) Stress will lower your immune system.
You are likely to get sick from relatives because of similarities in genetic structure.
Do you drink orange juice, eat healthily, exercise, etc? Those help as well.
I typically get 2-4 colds, typically getting sick at the beginning of the school year and then at the end with finals and end of the term stress.

I usually get 1 cold per year, but I've been a teacher for 25 years, so other than the Ebola virus, I'm pretty much immune to everything LOL
