i need to include my payments for my rent in my apartment....is this really true??? can i also file my tax and i have to include my rent payments on my apartment??? can i do that??? of course i want to get more money as much as i can.....help me please!

If you have income over $8450 for 2007, then yes, you need to file. No, you can't deduct your rent.

If you're still a dependent of a parent, then the limit on earnings for you to have to file is much lower.

your Mom is an idiot.....sorry.....but no..when you cheat on taxes, they will watch you forever and you pay high fines, if you don't know anything about it, go to IRS.gov and read!
