Why is it so hard to approach attactive women. I'm not ugly but have a hard time talking to women. Would you not talk to a guy becuase you thought his friend(s) were a little cuter? I'm very funny, smart, and easy to talk to. What can I do?

No offense, but I get treated like a little sister ALL THE TIME. That is one of my biggest problems. I wish that just once some guy would come up to me and tell me that I look HOT, and PLEASE will I go out with him, so he can prove that to me!
I'm not ugly either. In fact, I look a lot like my avatar here, except I have curly hair (but the same length and general style). And I haven't had a regular boyfriend since HIGH SCHOOL!
You sound like a really nice guy, that I wouldn't mind getting to know better. How come fate seems to keep the shy, just a little needy, single ones looking in vain forever?

There is always going to be competition, so my advice to you is to reach out. don't think of it as approaching the girl, think of it as hanging out with your sister. In other words, don't put on any act, just be yourself. Treat all women as if they were your little sister (a slightly younger well liked little sister) and I bet the women will be more open to you.
