I was having bisexuality/homosexuality thoughts and its freaking me out. I'm a Christian and I prayed for God's strength on me to defeat sin. How do I defeat sin? Any ideas? I'm straight for real.

First, recognize that these are not your own thoughts and you did not choose them. The mind is a battlefield of thoughts, some of your own, others of God and yet others from the devil.
God tells us that we need to renew our minds which means throwing out thoughts that are tempatations to sin. This is no easy matter if we have entertained sinful thoughts for a long time, if they have made a home and habit in your mind.
It takes recognition that they are not your thoughts ....or are thoughts that you don't want in your mind. It takes saying "no" to them and putting your mind on God , His love for you and all that He has done for you and given to you in your life, It takes reading His word, praising Him and seeking the help of His Holy Spirit.
It takes a long time to overcome these outside thoughts. It takes a lifetiime!
The devil even tempted Jesus ...and even quoted scripture to Jesus to deter Him from the walk His Father had sent Him for. Then the Bible says that when the devil failed, he went away with the plan of tempting Jesus at another time.
If you are willing to put in the time and energy to be in charge of your own thoughts, a very good book which is in any Christian bookstore will help:
Joyce Meyer's "Battlefied of the Mind". It's not expensive and very easy to read and practical.

I'm for being with it. I'm instantly even though.. Why? Because I believe it is tremendously dull men and women are judging homosexuals they are countless motives for that being most likely they may be able to be due to the fact that of faith or just a few men and women don't seem to be use to considering the fact that so they do not believe it is "suitable", however actually what IS suitable now a days? It's beside the point due to the fact that its no longer the proper procedure we're use to seeing daily couples being female and male. Well men and women have got to get a heads up and observe welcome to EARTH in which men and women are a lot more various then what they use to be, and actually it is not THEIR situation approximately somebodys sexuality. People act like homosexuality is a comic story, like any individual simply CHOOSES like guys, or females. (However, fingers down I believe bisexuality is selected). I would not fairly realize even though, if you're born liking the equal intercourse theres not anything you'll do approximately it. I hate while men and women make a colossal deal over it, Let men and women are living the way in which they wish.

I feel the best thing to do is not to let it distract you. There is no one alive who doesnt have sin or thoughts of sin. If you let it get in the way of praying, reading and praising, then you defeat Satan.

If you're having bisexual/homosexual thoughts, then you are not "straight for real." Stop fighting your nature and live the way as God intended you to live. If a "loving God" can make a lion and a lamb lay together in peace but can not stand to see two men kissing, then such a God is not so loving.

Its beliefs like this in Christianity and other religions that is keeping many people from being comfortable with their true selves! If you are having those thoughts, chances are you are questioning your sexuality because you may be either bi or gay. I suggest you re evaluate your religious beliefs if you ever want to truly be at peace with yourself. Homosexuality isn't something that is chosen...that's just who some people are.

if you have thoughts about bisexuality or homosexuality i think you are just human i'm straight but everyone wonders. and even if you are homosexual or bisexual you can't help it so find another religion that does hate these things

Sometimer I have thoughts about two girls making me love, but it is only a 90% mens dream.
And what is going to happen on this dream... nothing if I dont want.
So, You are having normal thoughts, searh on the net. Just think on those thoughts has something that will stop.

Just pray and ask others to pray for you (i'll be doing so). God will never give you a temptation you can't overcome with his grace.
