Hmmm . . . it's catchy, but I don't know if that's true. I don't think it is. And not everyone conforms in a mindless way . . . sometimes it's necessary for people to get along. I think I'm a nonconformist in many ways, and I think people who complain about other people who conform are really conforming to a certain idea of nonconformity. For example, all the emo kids (who often complained about people who conformed to what other people expected) were often easy to spot because they conformed to certain characteristics of their clique.
