Get a palmolive soap(the green one), then put baby powder on your hands. The palmolive soap has something that really dries your hands.

An arm-band could help to keep moisture from trickling down. Chalking up beforehand could also help, but that could be a bit messy (not to mention lessen the friction between your hand and the racket). There's really no quick fix for this problem that won't affect your game. You could look to a different style of racket that has a slip resistant handle. Just remember that the pro's are drenched with sweat in the US Open and definitely have sweaty hands. You're just following in their footsteps with your great effort!

Sometimes sweaty hands are the result of a condition called hyperhidrosis, which is a condition of excessive sweating in one area or over the entire body.

I suffer from this myself, especially on my palms and the soles of my feet. My hands are usually freezing but then sometimes I get such sweaty hands sometimes that I wrinkle paper. If I have a nice piece of paper or something that I need to carry somewhere over a long distance I make someone else carry it so I don't ruin it! I also have to wear 100% cotton socks and make sure my feet get plenty of air or they tend to get sweaty and stinky. It's totally gross because I shower every day! I don't want nasty feet like my teenage boys!

Anyway, if you do have hyperhidrosis, the only real cure is nerve surgery that stops your body from telling your palms to sweat--this is a rather DRASTIC solution. But you can try to deal with it by powdering your hands before the class, this may help some. That and wiping your hands on your own pants as often as possible!

Good luck!
