Stretch marks occur when you have gained weight for whatever reason and then lost some. Sort of like blowing up a balloon and then deflating it. They are hereditary and short of laser surgery, there really isn't anything you can do to make them go completely away. They will fade with time, but they will still be there. You can try some of the over the counter creams, but most of them do not work. Sorry!

So does about 75% of the rest of the people in the US. Really there is not much that you can do about them once you have them although they do have a tendency to fade. The best thing you can do..is use a lot of lotion. Most peoplee highly recommend that you use cocoa butter...some peopl insist that you use anything that has a high concentration of aloe vera. Truth is...any lotion that you use is going to add moisture to your skin...especially if you use it daily. The moisture helps to keep you skin soft and hydrated...the hydration will guard against the scarring and in some case the development of stretch marks in the first place. It just makes the skin more pliable.
Good Luck

You can't.
Well, okay, you can, but only with cosmetic surgery/procedures. The best thing that's worked for me is to go out and tan when no one else is around, so that way they won't show so much.
It's also a mental deal. You have to convince yourself that the whole world isn't staring at your hips/stomach/thighs/where-ever they are. Because guess what...they aren't. And if someone ever had enough gall to go up to you and tell you that you're ugly because of stretch marks, then they're either going to hell or they'll have some really awesome karma later in life.
Don't sweat it. You'll be okay.

You can minimize them by using shea and cocoa butter products. If you strech marks are caused by weight gain then loosing the weight will help in making them less visible.
I don't think you can make them go away with out some for of surgery as strech marks occur as a result of the skin being forced to expand too rapidly. As a result the it breaks sort of like a rubber band would if streched too quickly and to it's limit.

There are laser treatments available to get rid of stretch marks. You can forget creams or cocoa butter or anything like that they do not work. Here is a link about laser treatment.
